It's been awhile since I gave an update on the goings on of the kids. So, here goes.
Jesse is on track to graduate from University of Hawaii this May. His degree is in Nutrition...he plans on continuing on with his Masters and probably PhD after that. He came to visit in August and made this bowl for his girlfriend. His talent on the lathe is unbelieveable. We are hoping that he gets accepted to a masters program close to Idaho.
Melanie (11) is in fifth grade and doing super. She and Becca are still playing piano. Both are doing well with that. She is still our animal lover and takes good care of Lacey, Suki and her rabbit.
Laura (17) is a senior, so she is facing lots of decisions and lots of filling out of forms (applications, etc.) She hopes to go to BYU-Provo (she's already been accepted to BYU-Idaho)...we're just waiting for that acceptance letter. She continues to sing in any and every choir. She is also in the school musical and church road show. Busy, busy.
Ammon (16)--yes Ammon is 16! He's gone on his first date (I wasn't allowed to take pictures). He will be getting his driver's license the end of Feb. (consider yourself warned). He is working hard with his snow removal business and still helps a local farmer with odd chores. Ammon broke the six foot mark this year, and will be getting his Eagle Scout award this month.
Rebecca (14) is loving high school....the social part anyway. She does well in academics too, this semester she brought home all A's. She played soccer this past fall and is also in the Key club--a service club.
